filmmaker & photographer

I'm a New York-raised Californian, filmmaker, photographer, partner and parent. My non-fiction career began in the Gulf of Mexico, aboard fishing boats and a 4-seat Cessna, documenting the impacts of a deepwater oil spill.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, I spent four years working and learning in New York before moving to San Francisco in 2015. Over the last decade, I’ve built a body of work rooted in the creative spirit, open heart and mission-oriented focus of the Bay Area. I’m proud to have shared stories here about urban coyotes and environmental advocates, of capturing the restoration of iconic properties and helping shape the development of several now-global technology brands.

My independent work is focused on stories of coexistence between people, wildlife and the natural systems that sustain us. Some of my recent and ongoing films follow coyotes in San Francisco, newts in Marin County and goats grazing across California.
